Epicenter Three took part in Menahkwesk (Saint John, New Brunswick). In collaboration with Saint John Pride and Chroma NB I put out a call for a durational performance art workshop. Following with workshop, and on the final day of Pride I presented a ten-hour work with Son Freeze, in which I read the bible out loud and engaged in conversations about the readings with Freeze. Together we considered trans politics, theories, and interpretations of the bible. The work was presented on top of a hill at Place Fort LaTour, a public tourist attraction. As folks came across us, we invited them to listen and talk with us. This work inspired individual and collective transformations.
